For the ones who think Vista is the best

Normal PC users who use their computers just for surfing the web, or burning a cd or for multimedia applications, think that looks wise Vista is the best operating system. They think that Linux means only command line interface which is only for nerds and is very hard to use, and that Macintosh is for people who were born with silver spoons.In short they think that whatever Microsoft says is true.

Microsoft says that we say wow everytime we see interface of Vista, but the WOW actually started 5 years back for macintosh computers

And for linux desktops go install Beryl (window manager) and see what it does to your desktop, and then try saying WOW

PS1 and PS2 games not compatible with PS3

Sony’s PlayStation 3 gaming consoles which will go on sale in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia on March 23 will not be as compatible with PlayStation 2 games as those sold elsewhere. “Hard-core gamers” who buy PS3s are “probably going to shift their budget to that new platform anyway,” said Michael Cai, Parks Associates gaming analyst.

The PlayStation 3 consoles about to be sold in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia will not be as compatible with PlayStation 2 games as those sold elsewhere. The news may bother many gamers, but it probably won’t affect Sony’s (NYSE: SNE) bottom line.

A Ferrari Version of Motorola V6 Cell Phone

Motorola announces the limited edition of the MOTORAZRmaxx V6, under the Ferrari brand. The Ferrari Mobile Challenge Phone uses technology HSDPA and features the badge Ferrari on the external glass and the Ferrari name on the back. The switching on and off sound reproduces a roar of the Ferrari F1 engine.

It is a dual Mode UMTS/GSM (900/1800/1900/850) and comes with a 2-megapixel camera and video recording. It also features a micro SD slot and Bluetooth connectivity. Talk time is up to 197 minutes and standby time up to 330 hours.

Linux Kernel 2.6.20 released

Linus Torvalds announced  the final and stable release of the Linux kernel, version 2.6.20

“I tried rather hard to make 2.6.20 largely a ‘stabilization release’. Unlike a lot of kernels lately, there aren’t really any big fundamental changes to some core infrastructure area, and while we always have bugs, I really am hoping that we fixed many more than we introduced.
