Support longevity research and live long

Scott Wainner has written a post about supporting longevity here. Through his post he has tried to support the much opposed ability to control death and live long.

By living long one doesn’t mean to just live as a parasite or with useless identity. It is to live healthy and well for years or maybe as long as you can unless you meet a natural calamity or an accident. What if you could have all the strength you had in your 20’s for as long as you wish. Then you won’t like to die for sure.

This can be done by stopping the natural aging of our body cells so that we can always be healthy. Human cells are designed to get weaker with age. As you grow older your body also ages and you loose your ability to do things. But scientists are trying to stop aging and thus make humans live as long as they want.

In the current generation of gadgets and technology still people want to die. They don’t want to live partly because of aging and partly because of religious rituals and superstitions. The main 6 reasons why people want to die are listed in the article as follows:

iPhone SDK by February.

Apple iPhone and iPod Touch would rejoice to hear that Apple is planning to allow installation of third party applications.  The company announced on its Hot News feed , that it is currently at work on an SDK for the iPhone, the apps from which will naturally work on the iPod touch. But it may take time. And Apple will have the last say for any application to be made.

Interested in buying property in space, then this is for you.

Well everyone must have heard about people wanting to buy property in space (FYI: some already claim to have done that :-B ), but how about paying in space currency.

Someone with keen eye spotted deep within the page source, a mention of an “iPhone Extreme, ” floating about the code in a hidden variable on the feedback form.

What does this mean. Is Apple coming out with a new version of iPhone may be the 16GB one for Europe. Or a surprise for christmas. Just wait n watch.

Google buys ‘Zingku’

Like desktops Google wants to provide every service that it can on your cell phones too now. Google has  gone and acquired mobile social network, ‘Zingku’. 

A move likely to fuel further speculation about a ‘Google Phone’ in the offing…

Started in 2005, ‘Zingku’ is a mobile social network that typically targets teenagers and 20-somethings, helping them to share photos, send invites, and conduct polls through mobile phones for free.

There’s also a ’shameless commerce’ aspect to the network, which enables businesses send access code to customers to help them download and share ‘mobile flyers’.

‘Zingku’ deploys standard text and picture messaging on mobile phones, and browsers on the Web, sans installation of special software.

With the acquisition, the network has frozen new account sign-ups. Its Web site says that existing accounts will be transferred to Google unless cancelled by Oct 4.

While the nitty-gritty of the acquisition hasn’t been revealed, Google has confirmed “acquiring certain assets and technology of Zingku”.

Unlocking your iPhone – Beware

Apple officials on Monday said that that the damage that can occur while unlocking your iPhone with the circulating unlock hacs wont be covered by Apple even if your phone is under warranty.

The company said that unlocking an iPhone may render an iPhone useless after applying future software updates : “Apple has discovered that many of the unauthorized iPhone unlocking programs available on the Internet cause irreparable damage to the iPhone’s software, which will likely result in the modified iPhone becoming permanently inoperable when a future Apple-supplied iPhone software update is installed.”

“Apple strongly discourages users from installing unauthorized unlocking programs on their iPhones,” Apple said in a statement. “Users who make unauthorized modifications to the software on their iPhone violate their iPhone software license agreement and void their warranty. The permanent inability to use an iPhone due to installing unlocking software is not covered under the iPhone’s warranty.”
